• Wired relay
• Many customers prefer the WWL model. A wireless relay is subject to very occasional interference. If the signal is interfered with by high voltage noise, it may not actuate. This is not a common occurrence, but it can happen. If it does happen the vehicle will not start and the driver is stranded. The WWL kit gives you assurance that the vehicle will always start because there is also a wired relay in the circuit that will enable it.

How it works:

• Driver inputs his valid PIN code to enable the keypad
• When keypad is enabled wireless signal sent to wireless relay hidden in starter, ignition or fuel pump circuit
• Once this hidden relay enables the circuit the engine will start
  

Options for starting the engine:

• Use the existing key---key will work after circuit is enabled by GENIE-KEY keypad
• Replace the key switch with a lever or button switch---available (see options) Remember, this lever switch will NOT start the engine unless and until the keypad has enabled the hidden wireless. A lever switch is about $45 to replace the key switch.
  

Why a wireless relay?

• With our wireless relay in place a vehicle can NOT be “hot wired” and stolen. The hidden wireless relay cuts power to the circuit it is in (starter, ignition or fuel pump). So when a thief tries to “hot wire” it will not have any power to that circuit and, of course, the engine can not start.
  

Optional:

• Remote FOB: Each FOB must be programmed (married) to each wireless relay you want it to enable (typically given to supervisor or mechanic who can enable the ignition without knowing the code of every truck).
  

Benefits:

• Eliminate ignition keys (by installing lever switch in place of ignition keyswitch)
• Keep untrained and unauthorized operators from starting any truck they are not enabled into
• A supervisor or mechanic can start any truck in your fleet with his FOB
• Keeps your trucks from getting stolen by “hot wiring”
• Device can easily be installed and can easily be dis-installed if you are retiring a truck. Take it off and install on a new vehicle
