2.4GHZR Kit includes:

• 2.4ghz radio connected to serial port of KEYTROLLER device (gets power from the KEYTROLLER)
• 2.4ghz radio connected to Ethernet:
  • Serial port of your PC (same serial radio as used with KEYTROLLER device)
  • OR Ethernet model - one or multiple radios linked into your network

Features:

• Wirelessly connects to individual KEYTROLLER units for both uploading and downloading event log data
• Easy set up
• Allows for text messaging to individual or group KEYTROLLER units
• Eliminates the labors intensive work of finding vehicles and performing uploads and downloads

How it works:

Plug and play wireless communication for serial radios; Ethernet radios require network setup 2.4GHz radios provide range of 500' - 1000' indoors in industrial environments (dependent upon interference). Some older KEYTROLLER units may require firmware upgrade to work with wireless radios. Check with factory.

Note: WiFi systems require existing WiFi (802.11 b or g) infrastructure (not supplied by Keytroller). KEY105 systems require special embedded firmware if upgrading.

NOTE: On Keytroller 105 installs please specify if this is a new install or and existing install. On existing installs please let your rep know what number to start on the 2.4GHZR radio. Each radio is coded when it leaves our facility (example: If you have 10 vehicles with Zigbee radios, they will be numbered 1---10; if you later order 2 additional Keytroller units with Zigbee radios--we need to know how to code these new radios---in this case they would be coded 11 and 12.<
